Pretty July Mornings – Austin, Texas

Happy Summer, friends!

We’ve been focusing on beauty, nature, healing, and much needed depth of soul kinda things. These photos were taken in the last few weeks on a quiet, overcast morning. The sun was flirting with the clouds beautifully and I tried to capture a glow of our American flag. I have a special place in my heart for southern comfort home decor style. We scored the white wicker set from a lovely elderly lady in central Austin that wanted them to be re-homed to someone that loves white wicker as well. My zinnias and cosmos are incredible this summer. They have even outgrown me in height! May your summer be filled with natural beauty that we each have inside, simple pleasures to remind you of something comfortable and peaceful, and color to enliven your unique spirit. We are looking forward to more hot summer weeks, picking figs, summer game nights listening to the birds sing, and enjoying our big flowers! We welcome fall and hope our rose vines are adequately trained by then for early fall blooms. Toodles!
